I've found a source of cheap silicone rubber tubing but it depends on buying sufficient quantity. This is top grade stuff with 1mm wall
thickness in two sizes, 2mm and 2.5mm inside diameters. Prices would be £1.50 and £1.55 per metre repectively if I order enough.
I don't have to order miles of it to get those prices but more than I wan't to keep for myself. Those prices are a fraction of the rip-off
prices tackle shops charge. If a few of you want a metre or two to make up the quantity I will order and post it to you. For a metre
or two I would think about 70p would cover P&P.
Another item which is a total rip-off in tackle shops (among the hundreds of others, lol) is shrink tubing. For those peeps not aware, you
can buy shrink tube in Maplins in various sizes in 1 metre and 5 metre lengths. You can get 5 metres for not much more than you pay
for a few inches in tackle shops.
