Have a few days leave coming up in both July & August & fancied trying somewhere/something different and wanted to go for a big fish. When i say Big fish I'm talking 50lbs plus. What day ticket fishery's would provide me with the best chance of a 50 plus? Please don't say Witch lake as i don't wish to remortgage my house for a few days fishing I'm thinking Crowsheath? Elphicks? Darenth? Any suggestions guys n girls?

Posts: 1708 (12/07/2009 20:24:09) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	hiya rob .crows has got em in there, but aint an easy water , darenth has got the school holidays run thing ,but big fish , elphicks stands a chance , orchid is mostly 40,s, lakemore has got em in horseshoe , witch lake is a joke ,price wise ,take your pick , i would go horseshoe at lakemore [its done 2 ,60,s this year] or elphicks , dont neglect willowbank either . depends how far you want to travel bud .atb .

Just once and then i can stop fishing it Cheers for the input guys. Was up at Norfolk at the weekend and popped into a Tackle shop in Sherringham, they where talking about Witch lake,as some guy was showing of some photo's of some huge fish !! £240 for a weeks fishing though- OUCH, mind you cheaper than going abroad! Seriously thinking about Elphicks & Crowsheath as they certainly have some big fish. Would like to give Darenth a bash too but keep hearing loads of bad reports about Litter, Crowds & Kids .....my 3 least favourite things in order when it comes to potential fishing venues! Will keep you posted guys (probably end up at St Johns or Woody's )
