I'm off to France in July in my camper and wondered if anyone has had experience of a good Cat venue (not after records, just fun) with camping facilities ? Any advice would be appreicated. regards Mark

Posts: 102 (19/05/2009 10:57:01) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Take a look on the Seine and Loire valleys (plus the Saone / Rhone if you fancy a longer drive), both rivers have decent access and plenty of campsites. If you cant find a camp in the banks, then pitching up on the banks in France is not a big issue in my experience as long as you respect the place ie no fires, litter etc. Rich

It's not designed primarily as a fishing holiday (that's what I told the Mrs anyway , more of a chill out from work, but if there's some nice scenery, a chance to getthe rods out and the venue has Cats and maybe Zeds, all the better.....!!! Its on the banks of the river Ognon, it has a Restaurant just out side of the gate and shops / bars in the village. I v fished it a few times as its very close to my !+@! and cat lakes here, and have banked Cats to over 80lb, with lots over 60lb on a regular basis. The river Doubs not far also, about 30 minutes due South East. Look on Google Earth, you should fine it easy, if not post again and I will send you something. Good Luck Froggy
