Hi Mark
I'm pretty sure i read a article in whiskers once that one was caught in a fish in, maybe Simon or Keith would have more info, it wasn't a massive fish 2 or 3lb if i remember rightly, but it was a few years ago
Give a man a fish you feed him for the day, Teach him how to fish and you get rid of him for a whole weekend

hi mark, i think there's 2 waters that had channals in by b,ham airport, the civel service had ten of them, but i think they may have got rid of em, i,m
not sure but lavender hall in balsal common may have had some of them, they certainly did have some but unsure if some still remain, i also believe there's
one or two in napton, i,ll find out.

Crackers had a pair of channels few years ago, may still be there ??. I had one at 12lb , strange creature, no fight in it,reeled it straight in, grunts like a
pig when out of the water, feels like a wet breeze block, V sharp pecs. Chris.

Seeswood pool on the Harbury estate,Nuneaton, is supposed to have some too, there are cats that get caught by c..p boys on boilie"s often, but they never
get above 21lbs the last i heard, surely if they were wells they would pack weight on,dont know how big channel cats go to in size,I fished it for one season
years back but wasnt catting then,The water is run by the Alvis Club,or was when i fished it,Ken

Stonar Lake in Sandwich, Kent has a few in it, the club ( Canterbury and District) want them killed if you catch one.
