hiya dave managed fish over the ton at xerta [cherta] which by all acounts is a good weight for the lower river ,but my experience in spain has put me off the
place for life mate ,also the politics over there stinks regarding the rules and regs around the fishing for the cats .saying that ,i never really got to fish
much tho, every thing kept going wrong .oh well , thats life eh .atb dave .
Anybody catching?

Yup , still catching 4am on the 3rd on a big livo as usual 34lb from Linford.
Thats it ... finish... no more catting this year ... sort out the gear and start on the PIKE next week !! Chris . |

Sorry to hear that the trip didn't go to well for you Mark. it was a bit like my trip out to france in July, nothing wrong with the venue but the cats just
weren't having it. As you say thats life. take it easy bud.

cheers dave . theres allways nxt year if i fancy a return trip ,unsure tho
 , and then i will only go d.i.y , book a boat n gear well in advance mate, plus an apartment n bait , and just hammer the river to death at various
noted locations , do my home work and talk to the locals / guides for a bit of info etc , basically fish my arse off for hopefully better results ,lets face
it ,you have to exploit the bit of time you spend in a foreign country ,it only happens once a year ,unlike the guys that live there and can addapt a more
leasurly approach to there fishing when they feel like it .atb mate
