Wasn't sure where to post this as it's still a catfish albeit not a Wells!
Has anyone on here fished for or have experience of these cracking beasts ???

I'm absolutely fascinated by these fish & would love to one day fish for them.
I even have two babies ( 4") at home in an aquarium (Thanks Keith )

In an attempt to brighten up these otherwise dull winter days, has anyone got any nice photo's of sunrise-set. You will have to set up a photobucket account and download your images to there, which is fairly easy, you can do this by clicking the tab, and to post a photo click the same tab as well. It does'nt take long and will give you something to do if your bored. Cheers Jiles.

Catching the Impossible(ish).

Has anybody on here seen these films all the way through?. I have seen the preview that is free with AT this week and have to say the underwater footage and wildlife shots are absolutely stunning, the narration by Bernard Cribbins is also top qaulity, the only let down is Martin Bowler, he may be a very good angler but he's a bit of a plank when it comes to film... What I want to know is if there is much underwater film of Cats, I know Des Taylor...

I am probably going to get a load of greif here but why does it seem that so much space on this forum is wasted by slagging off other species. How many people on here have only ever fished for cats and not drifted in from other areas of the sport? i would guess not many. By constantly slagging off other species, particularly *+!+, all we do is alienate ourselves and discourage others, who may be thinking of fishing for cats, from doing so. We should be spending more energy educating people on...

It seems that because of the khv problems with @#+%, commercial fisheries are going to stock Barbel as the new bagging species in their lakes. I personally think it is a disgrace that a fish that so obviously belongs in a river and needs clean running water over gravel to feed and spawn on is to be abused in this way. What do you think?.
