I&#39;ve found a source of cheap silicone rubber tubing but it depends on buying sufficient quantity. This is top grade stuff with 1mm wall

thickness in two sizes, 2mm and 2.5mm inside diameters. Prices would be £1.50 and £1.55 per metre repectively if I order enough.

I don&#39;t have to order miles of it to get those prices but more than I wan&#39;t to keep for myself. Those prices are a fraction of the rip-off

to be more efficient under load than normal swivels aren&#39;t they?  That&#39;s what the manufactures tell us.  So I bought 10 Berkley

ball bearing swivels rated at 125lbs breaking strain. Firstly I had to return 3 of them immediately because they wouldn&#39;t swivel !!

enthralled. Has anyone tried using Braid or Kevlar as a hooklink as an alternative to wire and if so how did it perform ? ie.did it fray or snap ?.Ive also
found with wire that after a couple of fish the wire tends kink or twist. Any comments from regular Pike anglers that would help. ]]></description>
