Hi Guys,

I've found a source of cheap silicone rubber tubing but it depends on buying sufficient quantity. This is top grade stuff with 1mm wall
thickness in two sizes, 2mm and 2.5mm inside diameters. Prices would be £1.50 and £1.55 per metre repectively if I order enough.
I don't have to order miles of it to get those prices but more than I wan't to keep for myself. Those prices are a fraction of the rip-off
prices tackle shops charge. If a few of you...

Weigh Tripod

Been looking at getting a weigh tripod. Have seen the Nash one and it seems pretty sturdy. The only problem is that I can't seem to find anyone that's got one in stock.

Can you guys offer any info on other makes or where I can get a Nash one?

In my quest to find some decent and reliable swivels I thought I'd try some ball bearing swivels. After all they are supposed
to be more efficient under load than normal swivels aren't they? That's what the manufactures tell us. So I bought 10 Berkley
ball bearing swivels rated at 125lbs breaking strain. Firstly I had to return 3 of them immediately because they wouldn't swivel !!
One of them even had heavy corrosion visible around the joint. So that's...

hello all,

i understand most people on this site dont do any sea fishing but there is a Parliamentary vote on Monday which needs the support of all anglers.

it is hoped to add an issue to give the MP's a way out of having to make, what they feel are tough decisions, to declare areas nature reserves and protect wildlife!

obviously that decision would conflict with their "behind the scenes business...

Somebody please explain??

Wire or Braid ?

Did my first Pike session of the year yesterday and managed a ten pounder but the wire trace cut into the corner of its mouth which left me less than enthralled. Has anyone tried using Braid or Kevlar as a hooklink as an alternative to wire and if so how did it perform ? ie.did it fray or snap ?.Ive also found with wire that after a couple of fish the wire tends kink or twist. Any comments from regular Pike anglers that would help.

hello to you all ive just joined adams pool and was hoping could some of you please answer a few questions for me please. as the cold is coming i thought to get to know the pool alittle better i would target the water pigs over the winter, does anyone know how many there are and the sizes they are please? also i fished the pool for cats last weekend but nothing to report cat wise, but i did find it really hard to catch small bait fish is this normal for the pool/time of year etc? any info...
